"i've never met a dog that didn't have something to teach me."
From a young age, I have always had a special connection with animals. From dogs to horses to birds, I have a sixth sense when it comes to reading their energy and body language, and have learned how to effectively communicate and work with them in harmony. With over 40 years of training law enforcement k-9s, therapy dogs, show dogs and family dogs, I’ve worked with the tiniest of breeds to the largest. The reality is, no matter large or small, ALL dogs are better family members when they are well-trained.
their instincts lead them to look for and follow the leader of the pack. Utilizing “Correction & Praise” training, I teach you to establish yourself as the “Alpha, the leader of the pack” in your relationship with your dog, teaching them to look to you for guidance and direction. Without proper leadership, an untrained dog will choose its own direction, leading to unfavorable behavior problems and creating chaos in your home.

a dog who is well behaved in the home and out. But just like any other family relationship, fostering a good relationship with your dog requires time, commitment and consistency. By taking the time to provide proper obedience training, you will ensure that your dog is a welcome and beloved member of your family, instead of a nuisance and "problem child" of your home.
The Correction & Praise training method is rooted in the instinctual nature of dogs as PACK ANIMALS.
Dog’s instincts drive them to seek out the Leader of the Pack, the Alpha in their home whom they can look to and rely on for direction and protection. This is the only method that teaches you how to step up to the role of Pack Leader in your relationship with your dog, communicating with them on their level as you teach them to look to you for leadership, guidance and direction.
The reality is, your dog isn’t a person and does not understand our language, dogs read the language of energy, action and consistency. When you step up to embody the role of your dog’s Pack Leader, he will naturally look to you for direction and approval. And as the Pack Leader, you gain the ability to correct troubling behaviors, as well as the capacity to praise your dog for a job well done.
All dogs desire the approval and praise of their Pack Leader, this is the positive reinforcement that will keep your dog’s behavior in line more reliably and consistently than treats or food ever could.
